This is a French 50 Franc Hercules coin that is struck from 30grams of .900silver and was minted from 1974 through 1980. The obverse of the coin features a depiction of Hercules flanked by Liberty and Equality with the words "Liberte Egalite Fraternite" (Liberty Equality Fraternity/Brotherhood) above. The reverse features 50 Francs at the center, surrounded by laurel wreaths with Republique Francaise inscribed around the edge and the date at the bottom.
