This is a limited edition hand pulled serigraph on canvas by listed artist Reuben Colley titled "Hideaway". The image depicts a tropical scene with a small cottage nestled in a forest lining a tranquil beach. This piece has been signed and numbered by the artist. This piece was published as part of an edition of 75 examples. The framed dimensions are 15.5"h x 25"w. Colley obtained a BA in Fine Art University of Wolverhampton. After graduating he immediately began going into the studio every day to paint, living and working as an artist. His first shows were held in bars and clubs around Birmingham and Manchester were his pieces quickly sold out. Even though these small shows were successful, in order to cover the cost of living, he began working as a framer at an art distributor. At the frame shop, Colley began to purposely leave a few of his paintings conspicuously placed around the office. Soon one of his colleagues gave them to the proprietor of the business,who promptly arranged a viewing with Colley. Before long, Colley's work was being widely promoted and published. His work can now be found widely in international private collections.
