This is a poster after the color lithograph on paper by Henri Toulouse-Lautrec. It was originally designed as a poster to promote events for the singer Bruant who liked his work so much he commissioned three variations. This piece has the distinction of being one the most popular of Toulouse's posters ever produced. Toulouse uses bold colors, strong line and unusual perspective which shows his interest in Japanese prints and in the inspiration of older artists like Edgar Degas. This piece was produced for the Stedelijk Museum. The framed measurements are 36"h x 24.125"w. Media: Print HEIGHT: 36 WIDTH: 1 LENGTH: 24.125
