Coheleach is one of the most decorated animal artists ever. He has won the prestigious Society of Animal Artists Award of Excellence eight times. The recipient of this award is determined by curators and professors of fine art from museums and universities across America. The artist has been the feature of four books and the recipient of numerous awards. Coheleach is also very active in animal conservation and has donated his art to conservation causes for over 40 years. Some of the groups he has worked with include the National Audubon Society, Florida Audubon Society, Game Conservation International, International Wildlife Conservation Society of Zambia and Safari Club International for over 35 years.
